The Entrepreneurship Program is operated by the University of Miami Business School to run its student venture mentorship program.
What we collect
- For mentors: the name, email address, professional background, and areas of expertise you provide in your application.
- For students: your name, university email address, and information about your venture.
We also record activity within the program — meeting records, shared goals, messages between participants, and coordinator decisions — so that coordinators can support each pairing.
How we use it
Information is used only to operate the mentorship program: matching ventures with mentors, scheduling meetings, and monitoring the health of each pairing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Mentor contact details are never shown on public pages and are not shared with students. Mentor names, roles, employers, and expertise appear on our public roster with consent.
Messages and records
Messages exchanged within the platform are program records. Program coordinators may review them when an issue is raised about a pairing.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct or remove your information, or to withdraw a published story about your venture, at any time.
Contact your program coordinator at entrepreneurship@miami.edu.
